Why you should buy the S20+?
Samsung launched its
other pair of flagships' with a lesser price tag the S20 and the S20+.
They are pretty much the same as the S20 Ultra but they got overshadowed
by some key features.

Here are 5 reasons you should buy the Samsung Galaxy S20+ :
1. The Display

The beautiful Display |
The display in the S20+
is a 6.7" Dynamic AMOLED 120 Hz display. The display has a max
resolution of 1440*3200 pixels. The display has a 240 Hz touch response.
This is the same display as the S20 ultra apart from the size and
personally, I think someone should buy the S20 Ultra just for the
display because the S20+ has the same one. The S20+ has an In-Display
fingerprint scanner.
However, one thing to be
noted is that the S20+ also the S20 Ultra can only have the 120 Hz
refresh rate at 1080p resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate at 1440 p. But I
would always keep it at the 120 Hz mode. Although, I believe that
through a software update we can achieve 120 Hz at 1440p resolution.
2. The Cameras
The rear cameras do not
sound as wild as the S20 Ultra, as they do not have 100x space zoom or a
108 MP primary sensor, but still, they are one of the very best in the
market.
The primary lens is a 12
MP wide camera with an aperture of f/1.8 with Optical Image
Stabilization. The telephoto lens is a 64 MP camera with a 3x optical
zoom with an aperture of f/2.0. The ultrawide lens is a 12 MP camera as
well with an aperture of f/2.2 with Super Steady Video mode. The fourth
camera is a Time of Flight 3D depth sensor of 0.3 MP with an aperture of
f/1.0 which is used for better portraits and A.I features. With this
set of cameras, you can easily go and claim that you have one of the
best smartphone cameras in the world and take impressive shots.
Although the S20+ does
not have a 108 MP camera it can still shoot 8k @ 24 fps but keep in mind
the shot will be very zoomed in. It can still take the best 4k @ 60 fps
videos and 1080p @ up to 240 fps. You can record fascinating slow-mo
videos at 720p resolution with 960 fps. All these videos are capable of
HDR 10+.
The selfie department
has one single camera in the middle of the display which is a 10 MP
camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It can take videos at 4K @ up to 60
fps and 1080p only @30 fps.
3. The Battery

The Box |
Yes, the S20+ does not
have a massive 5000 mAh battery but you can still easily expect an
all-day battery from this phone. The phone holds a 4500 mAh
non-removable Li-Po battery.
The phone is capable of
doing fast charging at 25 W. As usual Samsung phones must have wireless
charging, the S20+ can do fast wireless charging at 15 W. Also reverse
wireless charging at 9 W. I would give this battery department an A+
rating.
4. The Specifications
The phone comes in with
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 chipset. The global version comes with Exynos
990 but I would never suggest you buy that version because it can make a
huge disappointing difference in your phone's performance. The phone
has 8 GB of RAM no crazy 16 GB here. Internal storage up to 128 GB or
512 GB of UFS 3.0 storage with microSDXC
which means it shares with the sim card slot. IT comes with Android 10
and Samsung's new One UI 2.0. Paired with the 120 Hz refresh rate it
feels like the phone is flying. The phone is also enabled with 5G.
5. Pricing
The
S20+ is quite reasonably cheaper than the S20 Ultra with a price tag of
$1199. However, the Unlocked version will give you a better deal. That
can get as low as $699 for the 128 GB or $899 for the 512 GB.
Conclusion
I would highly recommend
you to buy this phone instead of the Ultra. But if you want to
experience the best of the best you can go for it. As a person who
values money, I suggest you, tech lovers, to go for the Unlocked version
or trade-in your old phone. As of now, you know 5 reasons why you
should buy the S20+.
